Not so long ago, a competition was held for the best project for the development of the Technopark district in the Skolkovo innovation center. One of the ten winners was the project of the architectural bureau of the company “Inteko” called “BRT Rus”. The Bureau proposes to build houses consisting of modules of various configurations and dimensions, which will be assembled according to the principle of the popular computer game “Tetris”.
As you know, the press service of the Skolkovo Foundation announced that all ten winning projects will conclude a contract with the Foundation. At the same time, the authors of the best 30 developments will receive twenty thousand euros. The main condition of the competition was the compliance of the proposed projects with the urban environment of Skolkovo. That is, the residential quarter, the project of which was proposed by the participants of the competition, should be comfortable, environmentally friendly, energy efficient, it should have a developed infrastructure.
The task before the contestants was not an easy one. According to the news agency RIA Novosti, the architects had to enter buildings with no more than five floors within a circular block with a diameter of about 135 meters. The total number of residents should not exceed 484 people.
The winning project was named Cubic Clouds. It consists of 14 apartment buildings and a fitness center. Its highlight is the special algae used in the construction. Eating sunlight, they are able to generate electricity, which will subsequently go to the household needs of residents. Algae, according to the architects, will be inside a special glass integrated into the facades of buildings. Thus, the project developers fulfilled one of the conditions of the Live Streaming satellite internet Broadcast TV contest & Radio, have achieved high environmental friendliness of housing.
Apartments in the house will differ in their diversity. The area of the apartments varies from 30 to 100 square meters. There are also apartments on two levels. Each apartment has access to a comfortable loggia, which can be easily used both in summer and in winter. In addition, green roofs will be used in all houses.
