A specific feature of earthworks is their method of carrying out: using special equipment or manually. Diggers are specialists in this field. The beginning of any large-scale business in construction is preceded by preparatory and very important earthworks. Their main task is to develop, extract, move, compact the soil at the future construction site.
When carrying out earthworks, it is necessary to take into account many factors, such as soil properties, the depth of earthworks, the presence of underground utilities, buildings and structures that are nearby. When developing pits, it is necessary to take into account not only the requirements for the construction of pits, but also calculate the amount of soil that needs to be removed. Excavation allows you to create a variety of structures from the soil – canals, dams, areas for future construction. There are two types of embankments: permanent embankments and temporary embankments. Permanent – these are structures that will perform a permanent function (canals, dams, reservoirs). Temporary embankments – perform a temporary function (trenches, pits). Earthwork is an inseparable part of any construction, so the performance of such work must be at a high level.
