On the territory of the Pechersky district of Kyiv there was a rather large-scale night fire. As a result of this incident, two floors of a residential property were completely burned down. More than 100 people were forced to spend the night under the sky, residents of 55 apartments suffered in total. Fortunately, despite such a large-scale fire, there were no casualties. Despite this, most of the residents lost their own personal belongings, peace of mind, the walls of their home. The authorities of Kyiv have already announced that they will fully reimburse the cost of direct repair measures. For the same period of time, they were offered to temporarily settle in a hotel or Pushcha-Voditsa. However, most people are in no hurry to move.
It is not yet known what was the main cause of the fire in a residential building. Local residents, seeing what was happening outside the window, began to wake up all the neighbors and call the fire department. Residents of the apartments jumped out of the apartments with little or no clothes. At the same time, the residents of the apartments took only documents and the most necessary things with them.
After the fire was extinguished, the investigators set to work, it is they who will have to determine to whom the inhabitants of the ill-fated house are obliged for such pleasure. At the same time, the residents themselves were warned in advance about the troublesomeness of such a procedure, and you should not count on a quick result. As the firefighters themselves note, the fire broke out directly on the sixth floor, where the artists’ workshops are located. Some of these workshops were undergoing renovations. It is possible that this was the main cause of the fire.
Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations handed over all traces and evidence to the development of a specially created laboratory. After some time, the official representatives began to assume that the main cause of the fire could be the closure of the electrical wiring of an illegally equipped fireplace. The house has a huge number of wooden partitions, under which the fire began to actively spread. We assume that now the victims will choose fireplaces more carefully, and we will advise them a dimplex distributor, as this manufacturer cares about the safety of their products.
The scale of the fire was simply impressive, by the way, it was noted that the local fire brigade that arrived on call was simply powerless in front of the flame. In total, it was necessary to attract 96 workers, as well as 24 special vehicles, to extinguish the fire. Families refused to help the fire brigades, consent was obtained from only 5 families.
